As she earns money from people paying subscriptions on the platform, Azalea says she’s made “so much” from it. She joined the site last month and launched a “Hotter Than Hell” project that includes “photographs, visual art collabs, videos, merch, and all kinds of aesthetically pleasing, hot as hell things,” as she previously noted on social media.
SURPRISE! Im dropping a mixed media project called ‘Hotter Than Hell’. There’s photographs, visual artist collabs, videos, merch & all kinds of aesthetically pleasing, hot as hell things happening this year. You can get first look content + updates on my new OnlyFans account pic.twitter.com/e9y0sVNJWP
“I’m making so much money that I won’t even say how much it is,” Azalea said on the podcast.
Her profile currently charges $25 for a standard monthly subscription. She also offers bundles for 3 months at $71.25, 6 months at $135, and a full year for $225. However, the site doesn’t publicly indicate how many people are subscribed and for what amount.
During their conversation, Ratajkowski also asked Azalea about nudity on OnlyFans. “I don’t show vagina, but there is boobs and there is butt and I am naked,” the Australian musician added.
“It was scary when I sat on OnlyFans,” Azalea noted. “I’m someone who shows my breasts or my nudity, I don’t really have a problem with being overtly sexual when I’m in control of it and when I feel it has artistic merit.”
Sometimes the best new R&B can be hard to find, but there are plenty of great rhythm-and-blues tunes to get into if you have the time to sift through the hundreds of newly released songs every week. So that R&B heads can focus on listening to what they really love in its true form, we’ll be offering a digest of the best new R&B songs that fans of the genre should hear every Friday.
Since the last update of this weekly R&B and Afrobeats column, we’ve received plenty of music and news from the genre’s artists. Rihanna absolutely smashed her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show performance and Daniel Caesar and Masego announced their new albums with, Never Enough and Masego respectively. 6lack began to tease music from his upcoming third album and Kelela shared a video for “Enough For Love.” Elsewhere, Janelle Monae tapped Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 for her “Float” single and Rema fired off a double dose of singles for fans with “Holiday” and “Reason You.”
Here are some more releases on the new music front that you should check out:
OG Parker — “Still Work” Feat. Ty Dolla Sign & Muni Long
On their new single “Still Work,” OG Parker, Ty Dolla Sign, and Muni Long find themselves wanting to rekindle a flame with an old lover. Ty and Muni’s passion is undeniable through their vocals while OG Parker’s production provides the perfect landscape to orchestrate a plan to win back a past fling. The song is also the latest single from OG’s upcoming album Moments.
Melii — “14 Daze”
New York singer Melii is back to get the ball rolling for herself in 2023. After dropping her Medusa EP last year, she’s back with “14 Daze,” her first release of the year. A salute to the Valentine’s Day holiday, Melii confesses her feelings to a new lover over somber production that captures the vulnerability of her words and how delicate the situation is.
Yung Bleu — “Games Women Play”
It’s only been a few months since Yung Bleu dropped his second album Tantra, but the Alabama singer is readying his upcoming mixtape Love Scars II. The project is locked in for an April 14 release date and for its first offering, Bleu shares “Games Women Play.” On it, Bleu gets candid about the struggles in love and how, in his case at least, women can be better players than men.
Debbie — “Is This Real Love? (Remix)” Feat. Lucky Daye
British singer Debbie released “Is This Real Love?” at the end of 2021, and since then, her career has taken off to reach new heights. A little over a year later, she revisits the track with a well-deserved and luscious remix with Lucky Daye. Together, Debbie and Daye dive into the wonderful world of real love while beautifully expounding on everything it entails.
Spinall — Top Boy
You can always count on Spinall to round up the best talent in afrobeats for a project filled with smash records. For his latest project, Top Boy, Spinall calls on Minz, Adekunle Gold, BNXN fka Buju, Stefflon Don, Asake, Ladipoe, and many more across 15 songs. If you’re a fan of the many different flavors of afrobeats, this project is for you.
The past six months have been quite active for BNXN fka Buju. Between his Bad Since ’97 project, his strong remix of Minz’s “Wo Wo,” and solo efforts like “Traboski,” BNXN has a bit of a hot streak on his hands. It continues with “Gwagwalada” featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez, a vibrant single that is sure to have you dancing wherever you play it.
Bien — “My Baby” Feat. Ayra Starr
Another afrobeats artist who’s been thriving as of late is Ayra Starr. She recently connected with afrobeats singer Bien for “My Baby.” The honeyed single is one of the sweeter records you’ll hear on this list as both singers express their love and gratitude for a partner who’s proven to be worth their time and energy.
Mario — “Used To Me” Feat. Ty Dolla Sign
Mario is holding back in any way on his latest single, “Used To Me.” With help from Ty Dolla Sign, the two singers are sultry, passionate, and blunt in their feelings and requests for their lovers. The feelings between them are undeniable, so in their words, let’s cut to the chase and not waste any more time.
Dende — “Nightmares”
Despite dropping his Before We Go EP last month, Houston singer Dende isn’t letting up with new treats. He returns with the lovelorn “Nightmares,” a record that captures his pain-filled experience with love. Where some spent Valentine’s Day celebrating love, Dende spent his commemorating the loss of it.
Serpentwithfeet — “Gonna Go”
For his first release of the year, Serpentwithfeet arrives with a bit of bounce in his step on his “Gonna Go” single. On it, Serpentwithfeet makes a decision to surround himself with love. This also means that he’ll remove himself from places where it’s not available, a decision that may upset some in his world.
Tayc — Room 96
French singer Tayc returns with Room 96, his first project since 2021’s Fleur Froide — Second Etat: La Cristallisation. Through nine songs, Tayc offers records in both English and French that are extremely ear-pleasing and soothing regardless of your ability to understand French.

Look. I have never understood people’s fascination with celebrity couples. But even my usual level of confusion pales to the neck-breaking double take I just pulled at TMZ’s latest celebrity gossip report. Of all the famous people most of us — and by most, I mean like 99.99 percent — would never have expected to be romantically linked to each other, Avril Lavigne and Tyga would have been at the top of the list… provided anyone ever thought they even knew each other.
And yet, there they are at Nobu, reportedly hugging it out in the parking lot before leaving together in the same car. According to TMZ’s notorious “sources,” the two have actually been spending a lot of time together.
However, they might just be friends. As TMZ also points out, Lavigne was recently engaged to Minnesota alt-musician Mod Sun. They dated from 2021 to March 2022 when they announced their engagement, although Mod Sun had previously dated two women in a polyamorous relationship, so the possibility remains open.
Meanwhile, there is a link between Lavigne and Tyga: Both dated members of the Jenner/Kardashian family. Tyga was previously linked with Kylie Jenner, while Lavigne had previously dated Jenner’s brother Rob (who has a child with Blac Chyna, with whom Tyga also shares a child). For now, any dating rumors between the two are pure speculation — but speculation that has fans flabbergasted.
I promise I mind my business but if Tyga and Avril are really dating… el oh elllll
Not some random tiktoker saying Avril and Tyga are dating and asking what’s going on with that friend group like girl just because a woman is spotted with a man doesn’t mean they’re dating. It’s 2023 and if you still think that, that’s shameful.
This year’s Grammys isn’t the only award ceremony in which Beyoncé is pulling record numbers. NAACP’s annual Image Awards, held yesterday night (February 20), had a few trophies of its own to dish out to the singer.
The “Break My Soul” singer won the most awards, including Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Soul/R&B song for the single “Cuff It,” and Outstanding Album for Renaissance.
Rihanna also won for Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album for her song “Lift Me Up” from the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The next top winner was surprisingly Chris Brown, despite Kendrick Lamar being the second most-nominated act of the evening. Brown won two awards. The first was Outstanding Male Artist and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) alongside Wizkid for his song, “Call Me Every Day,” from his album Breezy.
Last night’s winners were part of the non-televised ceremony. The televised ceremony will be filmed on February 25th and air exclusively on BET on February 26. To watch the 54th annual NAACP Image Awards live, click here.

Keeping up with new music can be exhausting, even impossible. From the weekly album releases to standalone singles dropping on a daily basis, the amount of music is so vast it’s easy for something to slip through the cracks. Even following along with the Uproxx recommendations on a daily basis can be a lot to ask, so every Monday we’re offering up this rundown of the best new music this week.
This week saw Lana Del Rey go on a musical adventure and Janelle Monáe give some love to the music side of her empire. Yeah, it was a great week for new music. Check out the highlights below.
We’re now less than a month away from Lana Del Rey’s new album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me On Ring A Bell Psycho Lifeguard. She unleashed a seven-minute chunk of its last week with “A&W,” a sprawling, narrative tune that’s as adventurous musically as it is lyrically.
Janelle Monáe — “Float” Feat. Seun Kuti and Egypt 80
Monáe is fresh off a big weekend getting some cardio in at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Before that, though, she dropped “Float,” an anticipated new single that features hints of reggae and Monáe reaching into her rap bag.
Latto — “Lottery” Feat. Lu Kala
It feels like it was just a matter of time before Latto came through with a song titled “Lottery.” She made the most of it, too, recruiting Lu Kala to help deliver a Dua Lipa-esque disco-pop banger.
Polo G — “No Time Wasted” Feat. Future
Polo G got an assist from Future on last week’s “No Time Wasted.” Uproxx’s Alex Gonzalez notes of the track, “Over a triumphant beat produced by Southside, Polo reminds us where he came from and that he still sees himself becoming even more monumental.”
Tiësto — “Renaissance (The White Lotus) (Tiësto Remix)”
The White Lotus switched up its distinctive theme music a bit for the second season, although that catchy vocal part remained intact. The same is true with Tiësto’s new remix of the tune, which turns the track into what should be a DJ set hit at festivals this summer.
Skrillex — “Ratata” Feat. Missy Elliott and Mr. Oizo
Skrillex has been a machine lately, releasing new songs at an impressive clip. That was all leading up to Quest For Fire, his first album in nine years that’s out now. Highlights include “Ratata,” a jittery two-minute number featuring Missy Elliott and Mr. Oizo.
Caroline Polachek — “Fly To You” Feat. Grimes and Dido
Instead of dropping on Friday like everybody else, she opted to release her new LP, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You, on Valentine’s Day. She mostly flies solo on the project, although she shared the love on “Fly To You,” which features Grimes and Dido.
Beabadoobee — “Glue Song”
Beabadoobee is enjoying some newfound happiness on last week’s single “Glue Song.” She explained of it, “I wrote a lot of this song while on tour across Australia and Asia in the back of cars and traveling. It’s a heartfelt song that means a lot to me…. A love song and the first one I’ve written in my new relationship.”
Don Toliver — “4 Me” Feat. Kali Uchis
Toliver had a busy week, dropping two new singles: “Leave The Club” and “4 Me.” Of the latter, Uproxx’s Aaron Williams says, “His latest single from the album, ‘4 Me,’ sticks closely to the [Lovesick] theme, hijacking an interpolation of Beenie Man’s 2000 Mya collaboration, ‘Girls Dem Sugar,’ to express his devotion to the song’s addressee.”
100 Gecs — “Hollywood Baby”
The famous Forrest Gump “box of chocolates” line could have easily been about 100 Gecs (timeline impossibility aside), because you really can’t predict what a new Gecs tune is going to sound like. On “Hollywood Baby,” the latest, they went in a guitar-driven direction that comes across as their warped-version of hooky ’00s pop-punk.

Eminem is reportedly trying to stop Real Housewives Of Potomac stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon from trademarking their podcast, titled Reasonably Shady. According to Page Six, he filed an opposition against the reality TV duo on Valentine’s Day (February 14), claiming that the name could “cause confusion in the minds of consumers.”
As he’s gone by the nickname “Slim Shady” for nearly his whole career, Eminem owns the trademark for “shady” on merchandise.
Dixon and Bryant reportedly want to use the trademark to sell podcast-related merch, including water bottles and clothing items, as fans of the franchise have tuned into the show since it started in 2021. While they have not currently responded to Eminem’s filing, they have until March 26 to offer a reply or the next step.
Just earlier this week, they celebrated reaching 5 million downloads for their podcast, which is hosted by Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network on iHeartRadio.
It’s also worth noting that Eminem has had a documented feud with Char, going so far as to diss him on a 2018 song, “Kamikaze,” after Charlamagne called him “trash all year long” the year before.
While it seemed to calm down on the surface in recent years, the filing very well could cause some tension between the two once more.
Latto has unleashed a lot of fiery singles lately. From “Lottery” with Lu Kala to the provocative “Another Nasty Song,” which successfully got people talking. However, it looks like she’s got even more material coming. Although she only unveiled her last LP 777 in March of last year, she’s already talking about her next one.
On Twitter, a fan posted a list of artists they wanted Latto to work with on her next album. The list included a long list of music acts, including Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Chris Brown, Don Toliver, SZA, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Kim Petras, and Doja Cat. Latto quote-tweeted, saying that “1 of these already done.” Then, she added, “Wait, I read the list again… *2.”
Fans are frantically guessing on social media. Many are expressing hope that it’s not Chris Brown, who has a song called “How Does It Feel” arriving with Chlöe soon, which upset many of her fans due to his alleged history of harassment, assault, and more.
In November, Latto dealt with 130 of her songs being leaked. While this would’ve easily devastated any other artist, she proved to be unbothered, posting a spicy TikTok of her twerking in a hot tub with the caption, “POV: Dancing to ur leaked music for ur man.”
So far, Latto hasn’t shared any further information about the forthcoming project.

It’s been a year and change since Lil Nas X dropped his debut album, Montero, in late 2021. As for how his sophomore effort is coming along, the rapper decided to open up about that on Twitter today (February 20), answering his followers’ questions about the upcoming project.
A fan asked when the rapper’s next album is coming and he responded, “most likely summer.” Somebody else wondered if the album has any features and Nas was more coy there, replying, “ooooooh.” Another Twitter user asked, “how many tracks confirmed,” and he responded, “idk i love so many songs plus i’m still in the studio making music so it’s gone be hard to pick.”
In response to another tweet, he explained, “it’s mostly planning now. i could easily just release music but i have to build moments around this sh*t. i have to go bigger than before!” Someone asked if he plans to drop a new single soon and he replied, “is tour soon?”
it’s mostly planning now. i could easily just release music but i have to build moments around this shit. i have to go bigger than before!
Elsewhere, when it comes to “sad songs,” Nas noted, “i didn’t make many of those i been too happy lately.” He also confirmed that his leaked song “Down Souf Hoes” is currently still set to be on the upcoming album.
i didn’t make many of those i been too happy lately
Today, February 20, Chlöe confirmed that In Pieces is coming on March 31. The announcement video was soundtracked by an unreleased track. “My tears are like the water. my heart is like the sun. through chaos, beauty grows. there’s power in my pain,” Chlöe tweeted.

In a fan-captured video, Chlöe told the crowd, “I just turned in my first debut album two days ago. It was the best Valentine’s Day gift to myself because when I was writing this album, I was dealing with too many … and I’m like, ‘You know what, girl? You deserve better than that.’ And instead of trying to get back at them, I’ma just let karma do its thing. I’ma ‘Pray It Away.’”
Check out the clips below, and watch Chlöe’s In Pieces release date announcement video above.
